What makes a Great Song?

It might come as a surprise to many people, this blogger is a dark and twisty girl. I am melancholic, and mostly lonely yet surrounded by people constantly.

So yesterday, as we were waiting for the time to pass at work, just before closing time, we start talking about great music, and what makes great music. So among some of my favourite tunes are plenty of sad, lonely, deep, emo and indie songs. Underneath my very mainstream rocker front, I spend plenty of my off time lying in a bath and listening to cry-your-eyes-out-music at ear-bleed level. And when I clean my flat, I love to listen to hyper rock. And when I’m tipsy, I listen to oldies. Which leads me to the point of my entry. I have decided to compile my list of the greatest songs of all time. Keep in mind, this is WaywardChild’s opinion. If you don’t like it: Suck it! 😀 Here they are, in no specific order:
